Escape is a visual narrative of what video games can do for an individual. They can remove us from reality and become fully immersed in these fantastical worlds. Though these worlds are more miniature and we have limitations on how we can experience them, they still can appear full of life and opportunity. I grew up playing the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube where I sunk countless hours of my childhood into these systems with these characters. This book, sized to be the same as a Nintendo Gamecube game manual, explores the positives and negatives of engulfing oneself in these digital environments.
